Welcome to Communion!Thanks for using our services, whether it’s our mobile application (app) or website. By using our services you’re agreeing to our terms so please read them carefully!The LicenseWhen using Communion you get a limited license to access and make personal use of the App and not to modify it, or any portion of it, except with the written consent of the Company. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the App or its contents; any derivative use of the App or its contents; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. The App or any portion of the App may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our written consent. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by the Company. You may not use any logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark without our written permission. If any open-source software is included in the App, the terms of an open-source license may override some of the terms set out in this section. We record your consultations with us. Details of how we protect and use such recordings are set out in our Privacy Policy. You may view consultation recordings from within the App, for so long as we retain a copy of the same on our secure servers, for your own private purposes (and may show them to any other medical practitioner who is supporting your care). Consultation recordings should not be published on social media or any other media sharing platforms. The TermsBy using Communion you agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and only for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the Services to transmit, post, download, distribute, copy, display publicly, store or destroy material (a) in violation of any applicable law or regulation, (b) in a manner that will infringe the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy or publicity or other personal rights of others, or (c) that is libelous, obscene, offensive, threatening, defamatory, abusive or hateful. We have absolute discretion to determine if any use violates these rules, and to act as we deem appropriate in the event of any violation. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. We will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, cooperate with, and make disclosures to, law enforcement authorities in identifying and prosecuting users who are involved in such violations.The UsageYou will need a Communion Account in order to use some of our Services. To protect your Communion Account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your Communion Account. The contents of the Communion are for informational purposes only. The Content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read on the Communion! If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately. Communion does not recommend or endorse any specific tests, physicians, products, procedures, opinions, or other information that may be mentioned on the App. Reliance on any information provided by Communion, Communion employees, others appearing on the App at the invitation of Communion, or other visitors to the App is solely at your own risk.The AgreementYou agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Communion, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers, harmless from and against any claims, actions or demands, liabilities and settlements including without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from, or alleged to result from, your violation of these Terms and Conditions. Communion is based in New York, New York, in the United States of America. If you access the Communion from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
